Adaptation roller shutters

The atmosphere of your house interior is an important aspect of living standards. The ideal OKNA exterior roller shutters systems may not only provide extra security of your house but also, undoubtedly, contribute to the unique character of the interior. The roller shutters enable regulation of sunlight exposure of the rooms and provide perfect thermal insulation.

The adaptation roller shutters are designed primarily for buildings in which the windows have already been installed or where the use of other roller shutter systems (for example top-mounted ones) is for specific reasons undesirable. The Comfort adaptation roller shutters (RAK) can also be used in the newly constructed houses and such renovations which involve window replacement.

Adaptation roller shutters are based on a roller shutter box made of aluminium, installed with aluminium rails, which are usually attached to the wall or window frame. Service access to the interior of the box is provided through a service cover, always located on the outside of the building. The roller shutter box is not thermally insulated and it is not visible from the inside of the building.

Adaptation roller shutters are available both with and without an integrated insect screen (in the version with insect screen it is advisable to note that it occupies a significant part of the space within the box, thus reducing the effective height of the shutter curtain).

RAR installation options:

Adaptation Roller Shutters Comfort (RAK) is a variant of adaptation roller shutters with a flat service cover, opened from the outside, located at the bottom of the box and equipped with an external plaster support, giving the possibility to plaster the front of the box from the outside, so that the box becomes invisible.

The RAK variant is available in four heights of 137mm, 165mm, 180mm and 205mm, with the box heights 165mm, 180mm and 205mm  also available in a version with a roll-up insect screen.

Adaptation Roller Shutters Standard (RAS) are the most popular variant of adaptation roller shutters with the service cover bent at 45 degrees, opened from the outside, from the front of the box. For this reason, the box cannot be plastered - the box is mounted from the outside and remains fully visible. This variant allows production of rollers of biggest dimensions.

The RAS variant occurs in six height variants: 125mm, 137mm, 150mm, 165mm, 180mm and 205mm, with the boxes of 150mm, 165mm, 180mm and 205mm height also available in the variant with an integrated roll-up insect screen.

Adaptation roller shutters Round-line (RAR) is a variant of adaptation roller shutters with a rounded service cover opened from the outside and rounded caps for guide rails. Due to the round decorative service cover, plastering of the box is not possible - the box is fully visible from the outside.

The RAR version is available in four heights: 137mm, 165mm, 180mm and 205mm, with boxes of 165mm, 180mm and 205mm in height also available in a version with an integrated roll-up insect screen.
